JakartaFrom August 20 to 22, 2024, PT Delta Systech Indonesia participated in the Annual Construction Seminar and Exhibition organized by the Association of Indonesian Construction Experts (HAKI). The event aimed to showcase the latest advancements and foster collaboration in the construction industry, bringing together professionals, experts, and companies from various sectors such as engineering, manufacturers, architecture, and infrastructure development. The event featured three key components: a seminar, an exhibition, and a short course. The seminar focused on the theme "The Role of Structural and Construction Engineering in Achieving a Sustainable Future" where they discussed innovative approaches to creating a sustainable infrastructure. Meanwhile, the short course covered the topic of designing steel buildings with earthquake-resistant features, offering practical insights into how engineers can incorporate advanced seismic design principles to enhance safety in earthquake-prone regions.

During the seminar, two representatives from DYWIDAG served as speakers. Mr. Jeff Liaw, the Asian Regional Manager at DYWIDAG, took the stage as the keynote speaker. During his talk, Mr. Jeff discussed important issues pertaining to the resilience of prestressing systems in bridge structures, highlighting the significance of resilience under challenging and variable environmental situations. In addition, he offered a worldwide viewpoint on best practices, showcasing advancements in prestressing technology that have been effectively applied to increase bridge longevity. Speaking on real-world case studies where DYWIDAG's solutions have increased safety and decreased long-term maintenance costs, Mr. Jeff gave engineers and infrastructure professionals practical advice.

In the meantime, Mr. Jakob Laukner, Head of R&D in DYWIDAG, gave a thorough talk about the revolutionary developments in structural health monitoring and inspection systems made by DYWIDAG. Modern technology makes it possible to monitor vital cable structures in bridges in real time, as well as their performance. The system not only increases the safety and dependability of the bridges but also maximizes maintenance efficiency by continuously evaluating the structural integrity and identifying possible problems before they worsen. Mr. Laukner emphasized how this innovation lowers the chance of expensive repairs or catastrophic failures by offering early indicators of stress or damage, enabling proactive maintenance. He also talked about how the data-driven methodology of the system enables engineers to make well-informed decisions, guaranteeing long-term performance and durability in a range of environmental circumstances.

At last, PT Delta Systech Indonesia also set up an interactive booth where visitors could learn more about the company's services, technologies, and latest innovations. The booth also served as a platform for professionals to engage in discussions about the construction systems and technologies offered by PT Delta Systech Indonesia, facilitating knowledge exchange and collaboration to explore how these innovations could be applied to various infrastructure projects. Through PT Delta Systech Indonesia's participation in this event, we aim to raise awareness about the latest innovations and technologies we offer in the construction sector. We also hope that our interactive booth served as a platform for professionals to exchange ideas, discuss, and deepen their knowledge, contributing to the shared progress of Indonesia's infrastructure development.
